One of the kings wins the war and the other gets banished (perfect material for the villain of a DLC lol). There you will fight the Demon Lord and the God of Death. Once the evils are sealed the war starts again, and they take it to a new level, where the kings want to steal the powers of gods, so you conquer hell and heaven (lvl 21-30, not rendered in map). When you're done, you can also help the other king. In these dungeons you also get Zelda-like items (Grappling Hook, Bombs). This is done by first completing quests around their city and then travel to the entrance of the dungeon belonging to it.
Then (lvl 11-20) you can swear allegiance to one of the kings and visit their areas, to help sealing the evils. At level 10 you can choose one of two dungeons, where you can farm stronger equip. In the beginning (lvl 1-10), you have to help the villages around the capital in the middle, to defeat smaller threats, like bandits and zombies.
